President Donald Trump delivered a dramatic warning to Iran, declaring the country faces "decapitation" if it refuses to reach a new agreement with the United States, while confirming that negotiations are still actively taking place.

Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said Iran has been given one final opportunity to avoid what he described as a devastating military response. He revealed that diplomatic talks are continuing at Iran's request and said countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar are encouraging both sides to reach a peaceful resolution.

Trump also claimed the United States had prepared what he described as one of the most powerful military operations since World War II, but stressed that he prefers diplomacy over conflict. He repeated that Iran "cannot have a nuclear weapon" and said this is Tehran's "last chance" to sign what he called a good agreement.

During the wide-ranging exchange with reporters, Trump also addressed freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, insisting the United States would not allow Iran to interfere with international shipping and highlighting America's naval presence in the region.
