OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind and Meta have been in front of MPs on AI safety. Anthropic and OpenAI back legal requirements, including reporting serious incidents. Google DeepMind and Meta didn't go as far. Meanwhile, the committee says the AI Security Institute can only test a model if the developer gives it access.
