NASA astronaut Jessica Meir captured a stunning view of the Milky Way over the Southern Hemisphere from the International Space Station.

The three-second video and accompanying photos show the bright, colourful lights of squid-fishing boats, along with blue and green lights glowing off the coasts of China, Thailand and India. "Look at what the light did now!" Meir tweeted on X.
