A man was arrested after police say he intentionally drove a Tesla Cybertruck into Grapevine Lake to test its "Wade Mode" feature.

The electric truck became disabled and submerged, forcing the driver and his passengers to climb out of the window. First responders then pulled it from the water.

According to Tesla, the off-road mode allows the vehicle to "enter and drive through bodies of water, such as rivers or creeks."
