WATCH NOW as Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a major address at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, calling for the emergence of a more balanced and multipolar global order.

In his remarks, Putin emphasized the need to strengthen international cooperation, expand the role of emerging economies, and reform global institutions such as the United Nations to better reflect today’s geopolitical realities.

He highlighted the growing importance of regional organizations like the SCO as key platforms for dialogue, stability, and cooperation in a rapidly changing world order.

Putin also stressed that the shift toward a multipolar system is irreversible, as nations increasingly seek greater sovereignty and equal participation in global decision-making.
