The Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft has successfully launched to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a Soyuz 2.1a rocket, carrying an international crew of three astronauts. The launch marks another important milestone in international space cooperation between NASA and Russia's Roscosmos despite ongoing geopolitical tensions on Earth. After reaching orbit, the Soyuz spacecraft will perform a series of manoeuvres before docking with the ISS, where the crew will join the existing Expedition team and contribute to a wide range of scientific experiments in microgravity.
