Petrol and Diesel Prices | PTI Long March | Mecca Defence Pact | ARY News 12 AM Headlines | 24th Sep 2026

Govt cuts petrol price by Rs1.93, HSD by Rs4.21 per litre

ISLAMABAD: The government on Wednesday slashed the price of petrol by Rs1.93 and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs4.21 per litre, citing fluctuations in international oil prices.

Following the revision, petrol will now cost Rs390.12, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will be sold at Rs414.75 per litre.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the revised fuel prices will be applicable for September 24.

Ogra has also begun publishing daily petroleum prices on its website to improve transparency and allow changes in international oil prices to be passed on to consumers more quickly
