North Korea says it tested AI-guided cruise missiles that can recognize a target and correct course before impact.

Kim Jong Un watched the drill himself and has ordered mass production, with the weapons expected to move closer to South Korea.

The missile test comes after North Korea supplied Russia with ballistic missiles and rockets for the war in Ukraine. Analysts believe battlefield data from Ukraine may now be helping Pyongyang improve its weapons.

Seoul is only about 50 kilometers from the border. North Korea says the new missiles can hit targets 100 kilometers away.
