Where’s Daddy?

Annie Kelly speaks to NAZA co-directors Rachel Szor and Yuval Abraham about the way in which the Israeli military uses AI to rain down strikes on Gaza.

The film takes its name, NAZA, from the acronym euphemistically used for the number of civilian deaths deemed acceptable as collateral damage for every airstrike against suspected Hamas targets.

NAZA, which is produced by the Guardian, is currently in cinemas and will be shown in more than 50 countries, including across the UK and the US. It will be available for free on the Guardian’s website from late November.
