NASA has unveiled plans for a future Moon Base aimed at establishing a long-term human presence on the lunar surface, marking a major shift from short Apollo-era missions.

The proposed lunar settlement could eventually include habitats, robotic systems, drones, power infrastructure and scientific research stations near the Moon’s South Pole.
