The Indian indices opened flat amid weak global cues today with Nifty around 24,050.

The Sensex was down 75.60 points or 0.10 percent at 76,881.67, and the Nifty was down 41.55 points or 0.17 percent at 24,038.85. About 1350 shares advanced, 1016 shares declined, and 157 shares unchanged.

ITC, Bharti Airtel, Adani Ports, TMPV, Adani Enterprises were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Max Healthcare , Interglobe Aviation, Wipro, TCS, Axis Bank.
