►How are ‘what if’ trailers made?

I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. Ultimately to create a ‘what if’ trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more.

Editing Journey:

This one felt extra special because we’re getting close to the final movie in the saga. The Fast & Furious franchise has always been one of my favorites, and it’s a series I love creating trailers for. While working on this trailer, I went back and rewatched Fast & Furious 7 and Fast & Furious 8 to get inspired, since those are some of the strongest entries in the series. Watching them again gave me a lot of ideas about where the story could go after the big cliffhanger in Fast X. One concept I wanted to explore was Dom appearing to lose his life at the hands of Dante, which is something the franchise hasn’t really done before. But in classic Fast & Furious style, it turns out to be part of Dom’s strategy to outsmart Dante.

I also introduced a new twist where Dante Reyes brings in members of his own family to help him, played by Bautista and Cristiano Ronaldo. That idea turns the story into a full “family vs family” showdown, which fits perfectly with the themes the franchise is known for. Since the story returns to Los Angeles, I thought it would be fun to bring things back to where it all started, including the cars. That’s why Brian is shown driving the Mitsubishi Eclipse from the very first Fast movie. It’s a nostalgic callback that longtime fans of the series will instantly recognize.
