The government's decision to transfer top CBSE officials and order a probe into the On-Screen Marking (OSM) controversy marks a significant step, but for students, many critical questions remain unanswered.

While authorities have announced an inquiry into the implementation of the OSM system, students are still waiting for clarity on issues directly affecting them: Will reevaluation timelines be extended? Will portal glitches be resolved? Will the probe also examine allegations surrounding the tendering process? And most importantly, will any of this impact their marks, admissions and academic future?

For weeks, students have been at the centre of the controversy, highlighting evaluation discrepancies, portal failures and concerns about transparency. As the investigation begins, attention is now shifting from accountability to reassurance, with students seeking clear communication about what comes next.
