TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani report on the Israel-Iran and regional war.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed that the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards openly declared that Iran will develop an atomic bomb. Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani break down why Israel sees this as a red line: Israel’s existence is not up for negotiation, and with or without an agreement, Israel is prepared to do what is necessary to secure its future.
President Donald Trump revealed that the United States was prepared for its largest attack since World War II — a plan designed to bring down the Revolutionary Guards within 48 hours. Trump says he still prefers a diplomatic solution, but made clear that the U.S. had prepared devastating blows and that Iran called before the strike was carried out.
Drama is growing inside Iran. According to reports, Iran’s president was taken to a secret location and placed near a dark vehicle to hear from Mojtaba Khamenei without seeing him. Afterward, he reportedly questioned whether he had truly spoken with the Supreme Leader at all. Khamenei has not been seen publicly for months, raising the question: who is really ruling in Tehran?
Iran is facing growing pressure from within. Power outages, water shortages, rising food prices, unpaid salaries, medicine shortages, repression, executions, and signs of exhaustion inside the security forces point to a regime under extreme stress. Yair and Mati examine whether Iran is entering its most dangerous phase — not because it is strong, but because it may be cracking from within.
A temporary Iranian-Omani arrangement over navigation in the Strait of Hormuz is moving closer. The proposed 60-day framework would allow ships to enter the Gulf through the Iranian side and exit through the Omani side. Israel’s concern is that this may give Iran time to export oil, repair damaged systems, replenish stockpiles, and prepare for the next round without giving up its nuclear program.
Two Israeli soldiers were killed in combat in southern Lebanon, and four others were seriously wounded. Israel responded with air and artillery strikes around Mansouri, Tebnine, and Majdal Zoun after the IDF described Hezbollah’s actions as a blatant ceasefire violation. The escalation forced Israel-Lebanon negotiations in Rome to end earlier than planned.
The negotiations are no longer only about maps and withdrawal dates. Israel is demanding verified disarmament before withdrawing from additional areas, while Lebanon rejects an Israeli right to reenter and inspect territory. Hezbollah is planting mines, hiding weapons, and trying to challenge the process without triggering a full-scale war.
The Houthis have joined the war again, claiming attacks on Saudi oil shipping in the Gulf of Aden and near the Red Sea. Iran may be negotiating over one strategic passage in Hormuz while its proxy applies pressure near another route, threatening Saudi energy exports and the Bab el-Mandeb corridor.
The underground war continues. A Paratroopers Brigade combat team located a tunnel in southern Gaza containing dozens of rockets. The route was destroyed with engineering forces from the Gaza Division and Yahalom, as Israel continues refusing to reduce defensive protection for communities around Gaza.
