Apple is about to admit its own AI was not good enough. At WWDC on June 8th, Apple is expected to reveal a completely rebuilt Siri, and the twist is that it reportedly runs on a custom version of Google's Gemini after years of Apple's in-house AI falling short. Apple is also adding a system called Extensions that would let you plug third-party AI tools directly into Siri. Mark Gurman says the new Apple TV and HomePod are ready and just waiting on this new Siri to ship. We find out June 8th if Apple finally delivers on AI.
